EUROPEAN DAY OF LANGUAGE
The origin of this day took place on 26 September 2001. At the end of this year, the Committee of Ministers of the council of Europe decided to declare a "European Day of Language".
The idea is to create a "European Day of Language" was born at the Council of Europe during a Project's Final Conference in April 1997.
In January 1999, was declared the "European Day of Language".
The objectives of this were:
- To increase the knowledge of Europe's linguistic legacy
- To motivate to European citizens to the knowledge of many languages
- To support language learning for personal development
All the children in the world give thanks to this day because if this day didn't exist we couldn't learn any language.
I think learning languages is very important for many things: find any work, work in other country, talk with people of other countries ...
So, in the school I learn English and French. I think this two languages are very important in personal life because they are two of the most spoken languages in the world. The English it seems to me a language very easy that you can use in any country
and the French it seems to me a hard language because for many words of this language you need a different sound.
